The Ministry of Labour has issued Decision No. 831 of 2026, setting the eligibility criteria for Decree No. 29 of 2026. The latter was issued by President Ahmad Al-Sharaa in February, granting an exemption to employers from the interest, fines, and additional charges related to their delayed payment of social insurance contributions owed on behalf of their employees.
