The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) documented a widening pattern of Israeli violations inside Syrian territory since the fall of Bashar al-Assad in December 2024, recording hundreds of ground incursions, dozens of deaths and over 160 cases of abductions and arbitrary detention. In an Oct. 8 report, SNHR documented at least 453 Israeli ground incursions between Dec. 8, 2024, and Oct. 6, 2026.
