The Sijil Center documented 280 violations by the Israeli occupation in Syria during September 2026, an increase of about 5% from August, when it recorded 267 incidents, according to the center’s monthly report. September recorded the second-highest monthly total of the year, behind March’s 321 violations. The latest figures bring the center’s cumulative tally for 2026 through September to 2,032 documented violations. The incidents were concentrated in southern Syria.
