Tokyo, Sep. 27 (SANA) An 11-year-old Japanese player has won the gold medal in the esports competition at the Asian Games being held in Aichi-Nagoya, after winning the Puyo Puyo Champions event. Reuters reported on Saturday that Yuki Kurihara defeated South Korea’s Kang Dong-shin 10–2 in the final. Kurihara had topped his group in the preliminary round before defeating competitors from Singapore and Thailand in the knockout stages.
