Syria Moves to Activate REX for European Exports

The Syrian Authority for Supporting and Developing Local Production and Exports is completing technical and legal procedures to activate the EU’s Registered Exporter System (REX), a system allowing registered exporters to self-certify the preferential origin of goods. The move is intended to simplify export procedures, reduce costs and improve access to European markets.
